Cherry Red Wrist Warmers - crochet pattern

I wanted to replace my old black wrist warmers for a long time. Yesterday I had a little free time and decided to start that project.
I used some cherry red acrylic yarn, which was very cheap, and made these cuties.

I’m really happy about the edging. Makes all the difference.

Crochet Pattern
You will need approximately 100g of soft yarn and a 5.0 mm hook.

Chain 32 (you can do this stitch with any multiple of 2 +2)Row 1 - Work 2sc into 4th chain from hook, *miss 1 chain, 2sc into next chain,* 1ch. Turn.
Row 2 - *Work 2sc into 2nd chain,* 2ch. Turn.Repeat row 2 until you made 42 rows in total.

For the edging: 1sl, *5dc into 3rd chain, miss 2 chain, 1sl.*

Weave any loose ends into work. Sew the sides together.
Make 2, one for each wrist.

sl - slip stitch
sc – single crochet
dc – double crochet
